To affirm its fall-winter 09 "Declaring Indigo" make-up collection created by Aaron De Mey, Artistic Director of Makeup, Lancome adopts a new territory of expression by launching an iPhone application.
Lancôme therefore offers its clients an iPhone application both personal and immersive into the world of Aaron de Mey's collection, giving rise to a different ownership of the collection Declaring Indigo. Users can test the make-up collection by creating custom looks on their iPhone. A range of touch let them try the original colors and combinations of the new collection. Once created, these makeup looks can be saved and sent by email. The Declaring Indigo iPhone application whose artistic direction was entrusted to Made by Digitas and designed by Phonevalley is available in English and Chinese.
Another digital intervention but this time on Internet where Lancôme launched its first branded blog devoted to makeup: The Make-Up Blog. The brand defines a real opportunity to exchange and share constantly with the trademark National Make-Up Artists (Miky for France) on their experiences and expertise. The make-up tips are also in flows generated on the iPhone application. Meetings, making of, photos and backstage videos are on the blog Lancôme.
